RESERVE WOODWORKS & CONSTRUCTION
Reserve Woodworks & Construction LLC was formed in 2016 to create an architectural wood and millwork company that creates furniture and delivers custom installations out of American hardwoods. Our company has since grown to include installing custom tile work, handcrafted cabinets and original home pieces specific to the project. These projects are designed and built by Reserve Woodworks in the Reserve Woodworks Studio based in Detroit's Boston Edison neighborhood and assembled onsite.
The overall goal of this building and business is to utilize dormant historical property and beautify a major intersection using efficient and sustainable interior/exterior renovations, modifications, and landscaping. A key goal is to create a resilient anchor in our corner of the neighborhood spurring additional investment and growth while also filling demand for filled space within the growing local Creative Economy. We also have long term plans to develop community programs that will lend tools and provide education for residents on the subject of home improvements and gardening.

The Reserve Shop Space is a collective federation of craftspeople located in one of the many original Detroit Savings Bank. The building houses a woodshop, ceramics studio and 2nd floor meeting and office space. Each person has their own space in the building and comes together to work on larger scale projects based client need.

Once orders are placed, design and build can take approximately 6-10 weeks to complete. Lead-times for large custom orders will be longer to account for the added design engineering and approval for the final design phase. When preparing custom designs, we ask for a small up front payment to cover costs of modeling, sketching, and in house or client correspondences. We are equipped to handle everything from custom one-off commissions for private homes to large-scale public and corporate projects.
